A star pattern cut into all four sides of sustainably-sourced oak — drop a tealight inside and the ceiling gets its own constellation. We laser-cut these from remnant oak in our Calgary workshop, so each one carries the grain of the original board.
Set it on a bedside table before sleep and watch soft star-shaped light scatter across the walls. The warm amber flicker shifts the pattern constantly — it never looks exactly the same twice. Stack a few on a window ledge and the whole room goes quiet in the best way.
