Light that responds to you.

The experience

Bringing Light to the Invisible

Imagine walking into a space where light responds to your presence. Not a screen. Not a projection. Physical objects — wood, light, and pattern — shifting as you move through them. That's what a Wayfinder Landmark installation creates.

Each unit is a modular 2' x 2' x 6' illuminated column. Laser-cut patterns cast light and shadow that change with perspective. Interactive sensors respond to proximity and movement. One unit is a conversation piece. Sixteen together transform an entire space into something people don't just look at — they experience.

This isn't ambient decoration. It's public art that makes the invisible visible — how attention moves, how sensation works, how people navigate space when the space is paying attention back.

How to engage

Two Ways to Work With Us

Both tiers are the same piece of work, different shapes of ownership. Plug-and-play is a Wayfinder that responds on its own — sensors pick up motion, sound, presence. Full-service brings the artist with it: deeper interactivity, a larger footprint, and when the piece calls for it, a live performance built around the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much space does a Wayfinder installation need?

A single unit is 2' x 2' x 6' tall. For multi-unit configurations, we recommend a minimum of 3 feet between units. A full 16-unit installation works best in spaces of 400+ square feet, though we can customize layouts for any venue.

What power do I need?

Each unit draws approximately 200W — standard 120V outlet. Most venue setups don't require generators. For larger configurations, we provide a detailed power plan as part of the spec sheet.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. All units are weatherproofed and rated for -40°C to +40°C. We've deployed at outdoor festivals in Canadian winters and summers. CSA certified for public use.

How long does setup take?

A single unit can be set up in under 30 minutes. Full 16-unit configurations typically require 4-6 hours depending on the venue layout. We handle all setup and teardown.

Do you handle delivery and installation?

Yes. We transport, set up, operate (if needed), and tear down. For events outside Calgary, we work with you on logistics and travel arrangements.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the number of units, duration, and location. Download the full spec sheet for our pricing framework, or book a discovery call and we'll put together a custom quote for your event.
